$78.9 Million in Affordable Housing Program General Fund Grants Awarded Through Members in 2024
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (Bank) is pleased to announce that it has awarded $78.9 million in Affordable Housing Program (AHP) General Fund grants to 41 affordable housing projects through 22 member financial institutions. The grants will create 3,571 new or rehabilitated housing units.
The AHP General Fund is the Bank’s competitive housing grant program. In 2024, applicants could receive up to $2 million per project — more than double the award available in the previous year. AHP grants may be used to purchase, build or rehabilitate owner-occupied and rental housing that serves income-qualified households. The funds are awarded annually.
This year’s funds were part of nearly $100 million in AHP funding offered through the AHP General Fund, a down payment homebuyer assistance program, an owner-occupied home rehabilitation program and a disaster rebuilding program.
