Bank Announces Recipients of $28.4 Million in Affordable Housing Program Subsidies
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (Bank) awarded $28.4 million in Affordable Housing Program (AHP) General Fund subsidies to 43 affordable housing projects through 24 members. The subsidies will create 2,677 new or rehabilitated housing units.
The AHP General Fund is the Bank’s competitive housing subsidy program. AHP subsidies are available up to $850,000 and may be used to purchase, build or rehabilitate owner-occupied and rental housing that serves income-qualified households. AHP subsidies are awarded once a year through the Bank’s member institutions with an application period in the spring and the announcement of awards in the fall.
