About FHLB Dallas

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) is part of the Federal Home Loan Bank System, which consists of 11 district Federal Home Loan Banks created in 1932 to provide capital for mortgage funding and support for community investment.

Our primary goal is to provide credit and other services to help members fund housing, small business, small agri-business and economic and community development loans in their communities.

FHLB Dallas serves approximately  800 members and
associated institutions across our five-state District of
Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas.

A Bank for Our Members

Each of the 11 Federal Home Loan Banks is organized as a cooperative, is owned by its member institutions and operates independently, receiving no taxpayer assistance.

Several types of financial institutions are eligible for membership at FHLB Dallas — banks, credit unions, community development financial institutions, thrifts and insurance companies. To find out how to become an FHLB Dallas member, call 844.FHL.BANK (844.345.2265)
